Since moving to Chicago, the most heart-wrenching thing I’ve experienced is a daily occurrence. There isn’t a day I walk the streets without seeing someone suffering from homelessness.

There is a stunning lack of support for these people and I think many residents forget that it costs so little to make a genuine impact.

  • Dawg I don’t know just feed a homeless person. Well, I do know because I’m an accountant and know accountant things but you get the point.

  • It goes into my bank account. Then it leaves my bank account as soon as possible and goes toward bread, peanut butter, and some electrolyte filled drink.

  • Oh my goodness please do! If you can find a homeless person then you can do what I do; call me if you want to be more directly involved. Record a reflection video to spread the word and tag me - or don’t and just feed someone!

  • The day I find out what those are, sure. Maybe.

  • If I can use them as an emotional ground to hook others into helping out then sure why not.
